
ACCC Regulatory Conference 2010

The ACCC Regulatory Conference 2010 is being held at Holiday Inn Surfers Paradise on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th July.
The accommodation package includes the following single/twin share/double packages for one or two delegates on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Additionally, special reduced rates will apply for accommodation booked for up to 3 days pre and post the conference dates, cost per room depends on room type and rates are available on request.
As the Holiday Inn Surfers Paradise is now fully booked all accommodation bookings are now being directed to the Gold Coast International Hotel which is situated a couple of blocks from the Holiday Inn and only a short 4-5 minutes walk.

Gold Coast International Hotel – 7 Staghorn Avenue, Surfers Paradise
- Single or twin/double share accommodation including a full buffet breakfast for each delegate.
- All rooms with balconies, luxury bedding, casual seating, plasma TV, work space with high speed broadband, laptop safe, mini bar, tea/coffee making facility, ironing board, hairdryer, separate bathroom shower, bath & vanity.
- Full buffet breakfast (included in your accommodation rate) available each morning between 6.30am and 9.30am in the Restaurant
- Cost per room $220.00 single occupancy or $240.00 twin share/double occupancy both rates include either one or two full buffet breakfasts.
nextevent will process your conference accommodation payment through ANZ e-gate on our secure website and will confirm back to you in writing with your confirmation and tax invoice within 48 hours of receiving your booking.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS
The cost of Airport transfers are included in your ACCC Regulatory Conference 2010 delegate registration package on the following basis.
- Arrival transfers will be arranged for you by nextevent on receipt of your flight details arrival time and airport. For example QF123 arriving Coolangatta airport at 8.00am. Each delegate will be met at the baggage carousel for domestic arrivals and outside the arrivals hall for international arrivals. All transfer drivers will display a sign ACCC Delegates and will transfer all delegates direct to the Hotel by air-conditioned coaches and/or sedans.
- Departure transfers will also be by air-conditioned coaches (not individual sedans) that will commence departing from The Holiday Inn Surfers Paradise Hotel at 1.30pm after the last session then again after lunch at 2.30pm on Friday 30th July 2010 to both Brisbane and Coolangatta airports.
- The last coaches will leave the Holiday Inn Surfers Paradise Hotel at approximately 3.00pm. Delegates are requested to allow a minimum of 1 hour for travel by coach to Coolangatta Airport and 1.5 hours to Brisbane Airport. To each of these travel times delegates need to allow the standard check in times as advised by the airline.
- Please note that should you require individual transfers outside of the coach departure times then these will need to be paid for by each delegate. nextevent can arrange these transfers for you and they will charge you separately for these.
LUGGAGE on DEPARTURE
- Delegates staying at the Gold Coast International Hotel can leave their baggage with the concierge on Friday morning prior to going into the conference at 9.00am.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply to all accommodation bookings made for the ACCC Regulatory Conference 2010:
- Changes and amendments to the original accommodation booking are subject to availability and will attract an additional charge of $65.00 per delegate which will be debited at the time of the change.
- Cancellations of accommodation received after the initial payment up to the 20th June 2010 will be refunded less a cancellation fee of $65.00 per delegate.
- Cancellations of accommodation received after the 20th June 2010 will be not be entitled to a refund.
- All accommodation bookings will attract a credit card processing fee of 3% for Visa, Mastercard or American Express, Diners Card is not accepted.
